DCDC converters are vital in any electrical or hybrid vehicle to bridge the high-voltage battery pack with the low voltage auxiliary circuits. Using GaN Systems’ power semiconductors results in DCDC converters that are highly efficient, reducing loss and wasted power to heat, and featuring best in class power density. This contributes to a smaller system and decreases vehicle weight.
